One Splendid Sunday.

"Really great people make you feel that you, too, can become great"
Mark Twain

It's been a while since I've been in front of a camera. Let's get real, I love taking pictures! Being in them sometimes makes me break out in hives and search for the nearest inhaler. Kidding kidding, maybe...Today was a day where I lived life on the edge. Oh yes, I almost fell off. I asked Tara (my sister, best friend, room buddy) to take a few pictures of me so I could update my website. It was an experience.

So, here we are in the backyard, taking pictures. My mom let Oscar outside and I decided he deserves to be on my website. I mean, he is the cutest ever. But after we got a few pictures of me, it was time for some pictures of the girls. Tara, Jessica, and Liz are always up for anything. And let me tell you, it reminded me how much I LOVE taking pictures and my life. These girls are the bee's knees. I mean, who else will sing Justin Bieber at the top of their lungs with me? Yes, we have Bieber Fever. Don't hate.

Also, if you didn't notice, I put my blog on Extreme Blog Makeover so that it would be twinsies with my website! I'm in love with the white, the grey, and the wispy dandelion. Let me know how you like it! I'm a fan, most def.

Life is splendid.

Thought of the Day: Hope

"Fear takes you captive, Hope sets you free..."

Today has been a day full of thoughts. Ones that come and linger in your mind long after they first arrive. I've been thinking of the future, photography, the present, my to-do lists, and my goals. Those thoughts that really never fully get settled.

While thinking, I remembered....That instead of being taken captive by fear, that I should cling to hope. Hope that the future will be better than I can imagine. How exciting to wake up and know that the best day of my life has not already past, but is coming. That the future should not make me fearful, but hopeful.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed with the present. The lack of order in my head and the things that are out of my control. But today, I decided that I wasn't going to be overwhelmed. I'm not going to think about all the things I have to do tomorrow, or the things that I didn't do yesterday. Because when thinking about those things, all I'm doing is missing the moments that are happening. Oh life, I'm ready to live you.

This picture has been stuck in my mind. I love kids, and I love how when they look towards the future, there is nothing but excitement. No fear, just hope. Thanks Ella, you are what I want to be like.

Life is happening now, live it.

A Promise Kept

"There are three things which cannot be hid; love, pregnancy, and riding on a camel."
-Arabic Proverb

For just about 9 months, I have been so excited to meet Raegan Danielle Promise Walker. Sean and Stacia are glowing whenever I see them because they are too. This baby girl has been prayed for, hoped for, and dreamt about for a long time. She is a promise kept and a longing fulfilled.

Here are a few of her and Sean and Baby Raegan. There are two things that were not hidden yesterday. Her belly, and how much Sean and Stacia are in love.

Baby Raegan, I love you already. I cannot wait to meet you. Come soon, the world is ready for you!

Life is full of new beginnings.
