Change is Good.

"Growth means change and change involves risk. Stepping from the known into the unknown."
-Unknown

Life is changing a lot these days! For good, yes. Some changes are hard and take some adjusting, but I'm learning to love change. This last year has been full of changes, and while some have taken some getting used to, I am so glad all of them have happened. Having 3 of my favorite girls live in my home, a new job, and a lot of other changes have been fantastic.

I have been wanting to change up my website for a while and when June rolled around, I knew it was time.   I am in love. Really, I'm heading to buy my new website flowers and chocolate for being so beautiful. *Hint to my future husband: Flowers + Chocolate = Happy Wife* I still have other things to add and change, but I love sharing things, and this is no exception. Take a look, stay a while, watch the beautiful slideshows, send me an e-mail.

Here is a little preview. Oh, love love love.

Take a look, tell me your thoughts! Anything you think I should add!

Life is a-changin'.

Baby Andi Alena : Newborn

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."
-Unknown

It was June 7th, at 9:21 PM when this perfect baby girl made her entrance into the world. She's a smart girl, and knew that she needed a fashionably late entrance. Only a few days past due, Galadriel and Ben were ready to meet Andi Alena. She is a little miracle and is precious beyond belief. Her little lips and little fingernails were my favorite. Babies are the best thing ever. No really, they are.

Holding her and rocking her to sleep was my favorite. She was so sleepy and ready for her nap in front of my camera. Really, she could not have been more perfect! She must have been having great dreams because she kept cracking little smiles when she was sleepin'. Big sisters Hayley and Eowyn were there to rub her arm and make sure she was okay. I adore this family and wish I maybe was 4 so I could be best friends with these baby girls.

Introducing: Andi Alena Hardebeck
Born: June 7th, 2011; 9:21 P.M.
10 lbs. 4 oz. ; 22" long
Perfect Little Miracle.

A Waterfall, Tic Tacs, + One Big Question.

"My whole heart for my whole life."
-French Saying

Anticipation filled the car as I drove to Snoqualmie falls with Wes. He showed me the ring, the car was filled with 5 dozen roses, and I had bought 2 packs of tic tacs...Just in case. He went over the details in his head and told me about how perfectly everything had worked out.

After a whirlwind of events, Ashley packed her bags for Washington and flew out to get picked up from the airport by her sisters. Wes had already flown out the night before to ask Ashley's dad for her hand in marriage. He also knew that in order for a proposal to be perfect, Ashley's family would be there. So he made it happen.

She bought a dress, her mom and sister did her hair and make-up and she waited anxiously. She didn't know what would happen. All she knew was that she needed to be ready at 6:00. When 6:00 came, a limo pulled up. She got in but Wes was not there. After a quick stop to get a Sweet Tea, she was on her way.

Wes was at Snoqualmie Falls, laying a trail of roses up to the lookout point. Checking his phone for the 3 minute warning, clearing away the tourists who thought they should be involved in this special occasion. It was hilarious. Her family arrived and was hidden away down a path, I was hiding in a bush. Yes, you read correctly. A bush. I was crouched in a rhododendron bush. Once she arrived she knew exactly where to go. They both lit up when they saw each other. She was radiant. As he got down on one knee, all was right in the world.

Take a look, watch their engagement. Except you don't need to hide in a bush. :)

Baby Eva Mae : Newborn

"Where there's life, there's hope."
-Terence

Last month, I took a trip to Minnesota to visit some friends and take a little vacation. Liz, my sister who isn't related by blood is from Minnesota so I got to stay with her family and meet her new baby niece. Baby Eva Mae Rhein is the nicest baby. She was born a month early on March 30th and was only 4 lbs. 7 oz. She is a little peanut, the cutest peanut you've ever seen. Her Mama, Brooke, is one of the most wonderful people. She is such a good mom.

While rocking baby Eva to sleep, her big sisters Halle and Ella were there to make sure their baby sister was doing okay. They love her and want to hold her always. When she would start to cry or get a little fussy, they were there to calm her down. Halle and Ella, you were the best helpers. Brooke, thank you so much for letting me take pictures of your precious baby. Hope to visit your family in the future again!

Life is full of hope.

Best Friends, Dates, & Frostbite

"All of our dreams can come true - if we have the courage to pursue them"
-Walt Disney

Best Friends Jaimee & Alivia have been on my blog before. In September for the first round of their senior portraits. Since its been a while, we decided to take some more for a little variety. They were braaaave enough to get in the lake in their beautiful dresses and risk frostbite. Don't let the sunshine fool you, in Washington, sunshine does not mean that it is warm. I absolutely love these girls. They make me laugh because of their sarcasm and love for life. Not to mention they are beautiful and my camera loves them and wants to take them both out on dates. For Real.

One thing that I love about Jaimee and Alivia is that they have so much life in them. They are people who you want to be around, you want to spend your time listening to their stories. They are fabulous.

Jamiee & Alivia, you are so capable. You are both smart and strong and beautiful. The world is yours. Be courageous. Whatever dream you have in the pit of your heart, pursue it. You will accomplish what you put your mind to. I believe in you. Your families and friends believe in you. I can't wait to see where life takes you.

I love your friendship. When I'm with you it is obvious you know each other so well. No need to say what you are thinking, it's like you can read each others minds. Stay in each others lives, these next few years are going to be the best yet.

Take a look at these beauties. And no, you can't take them out on dates, my camera called first dibs.

Life is best with best friends.
