Encore: YAY!

Encore: "A repeated or additional performance, as called for by an audience."

After receiving so many compliments about the adorable pumpkin patch photo shoot, I decided to post some more to make you happy. Yes, you.

Okay, let's first establish that this family is basically the most beautiful ever. I was going through all of the pictures again tonight, and I was LOVING it. I love Hayley's pretty red hair. Maybe it is because I feel we have a special bond and should start a club, but really...It's so precious. Second, I am in awe of Eowyn's big brown eyes. Oh lovely, you are the cutest! And lastly, Ben and Galadriel...I have been thinking of them a lot today, and I have figured out why I like them so much. They are still so in love with each other, more each day and it really is evident. Thanks for being so in love Ben and Glade.

So, here are some more. If you want to stand up at your house and start clapping, I completely condone that. After all, this is an encore.

Life is spectacular.

Spectacular: "beautiful or dazzling in an eye-catching way"

Party at the Punkin' Patch.

Okay, this afternoon was almost perfect. The clouds parted this morning in honor of this family photoshoot. Needless to say, I was ecstatic.

I have know Galadriel and Ben for a while now, about 10 years. Galadriel was my camp counselor in 5th grade and I'm pretty sure she's been one of my favorite people since. Ben and Galadriel are the perfect match. They are so much fun to be around and they love to laugh and play. Eowyn and Hayley are their adorable daughters, and there is a baby on the way! Some people are hoping baby will be a boy, but after looking at these pictures of their girls, how could you not want them to have more. They are SO precious.

We headed out to a pumpkin patch in Enumclaw. I could not have imagined a more beautiful place. And I could not have picked a more beautiful family. They are so so so much fun to be around. I was laughing almost the whole time. Mud, Corn, Pumpkins. Love it.

Life is pretty, so pretty.

Love me some leaves.

"Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." -Confucius

There are moments that make your heart warm and make you smile so big your cheeks hurt. Most of these moments happen randomly in the middle of the craziness called life. While spending time with my one of my most loved people [Cara Garland], and her ADORABLE children, my heart felt so warm it was as if I just drank a warm cup of hot cocoa.

These are some of those moments...the moments where I am not working, I am playing...

Life is like a hug.

Backyard Perfection...

I love imperfect things. I love hair that isn't perfect (as you can tell by the craziness on my head always), I love wearing clothes that don't match, I love old broken down things. I think it's because life really is imperfectly perfect. The things that are most beautiful are the things that are just the way they are...imperfect.

Well you see, spontaneous photo shoots are my favorite too. And Jaimee, well, she's another one of my favorites. (As you can see, favorite is one of my FAVORITE words...) So, we went to her backyard and she put on a dress, and these are the BEAUTIFUL photos that came out of the whole scenario. You see, I love these not because everything is exactly perfect but because it is real. This is life. This is Jaimee and her cat who sometimes sneaks into pictures. This is beautiful, because Jaimee is radiant and beautiful and full of life. And because your life probably looks a lot like this sometimes, but your life is beautiful and so is mine, even when it's not perfect.

Life is perfect.

Brittany + Justin

Brittany has been in my life for almost 4 years now, and I am a much better person because of her. She is one of the most passionate people I have ever known. She is a faithful friend and a trustworthy secret keeper. She is one of my fondest memories and my favorite coffee buddies.

I have known Justin for a few years, but only since he has been with Brittany have I really gotten to know him well. He is so so so nice and caring. He is steadfast and honorable. Justin is her knight in shining armor. Really, Justin loves Brittany so much. I appreciate how he adores her.

That is my favorite thing about their relationship. Each one of them is convinced that they are the "lucky one". Oh my goodness, I love going to coffee with Brittany and having her tell me how happy she is and how she can't believe that he could be so wonderful. Oh love, you make life so sparkly.

This weekend, Justin asked Brittany to be his wife. I had known for a few weeks that this event was in the near future, and I couldn't have been happier for them. She was completely surprised. I was honored to be there waiting at the house for when they walked back and the families were waiting with hugs, kind words, flowers, and overwhelming joy for their favorite couple.

I stole the adorable couple for some pictures while they were still overflowing with giggles, smiles, and love. These moments are some of my favorites.

Brittany and Justin, you have blessed my life and I am so happy for you. Thank you for being two of my favorite people and for letting me be a part of your special day.

Life is delightful, and full of happy endings.

Opposites Attract...

This might just be the story of the world. But I think I may have just found my most recent favorite couple of opposites. They go so well together, compliment each others strengths, and always seem to make life more beautiful. I am in love with...

Black and White.

Let's just look at the lovely people in my life. The ones who make me smile just by blogging about them. These are some of those people. Oh life, you treat me so well.

How adorable is this? Really, like he doesn't have a care in the world and he is in the happiest place on earth!

Life is dynamic.

I just wanted to take a minute and thank all who contacted me about the "Name You Own Price" Special that I had going on! I am so excited to set up those appointments and snap, snap, snap pictures of your fabulous lives.

A piece of [cup]cake.

October 10th, 2010 was definitely a day to remember. My 21st birthday. To celebrate, some of my favorite friends came over and there were plenty of cupcakes and sugar.

I had some very important visitors stop by, the infamous Nazario family. As if my life couldn't be more wonderful, I got to see them 2 weekends in a row! That was one of my favorite presents. In honor of their visit, we decided to snap a few pics of the whole family together. In a matter of 2 minutes, these are some of the pictures that we got. Really, they are lovely.

Here are a few pictures of the cupcakes from Cupcake Royale. They were DELICIOUS!

Also, the "Name Your Own Price" special is still going on! Click on the link for more information!  If you are at all interested, feel free to call me (253) 569-7600, or E-mail me

Tell Me Whatcha Want...

What you really, really want.

Don't you ever wish that you could decide how much things will cost? Like those new jeans that you want or those boots? I know exactly how you feel, and I have come up with a solution!

For the next week, you get to name your price. Tell me how much you are willing to pay. On a budget? Great!!! Only want to spend $30? Perfect! I can work with that!

Here is how this "Name Your Own Price Special" will go! For the next week, you can either comment on this blog, e-mail me, call me, or facebook me with how much you are willing to pay and what kind of photos you are interested in (i.e. babies, engagement, senior pictures, family, etc.) and I will give you a time frame and a guaranteed number of top-notch photos. You get to pick your location and are welcome to change clothes as many times as you want within your time frame.

Example:
You tell me that you want to spend $50 for family pictures.
I would say, 45 minute session, with 8-10 guaranteed images.

Take a look at a few pictures! Here are some of my favorite moments.

Life is worth remembering.

My Sister Had a Giraffe...

There are some people who come into your life and become family. Amber Nazario is one such person. She has been in my life since middle school, but I feel as though I've known her forever. She was the big sister who helped me learn how to use a curling iron, put on mascara, and match clothes. Oh goodness, how I needed her help. A few years ago, Amber married Paul. I could not have picked a better match than him. A few months ago, they had a baby boy named Hayden Joshua. Oh the joys of becoming an auntie. I love him so much already.

Anyways, this past weekend, one of my best friends Tara Mae and I took a road trip to Vancouver, WA to spend some time with Jack Johnson and the acclaimed Nazario family. Hayden just happens to be the smiliest baby and he really really loves the camera.

Life is adorable, and so are giraffes.
