A Waterfall, Tic Tacs, + One Big Question.

"My whole heart for my whole life."
-French Saying

Anticipation filled the car as I drove to Snoqualmie falls with Wes. He showed me the ring, the car was filled with 5 dozen roses, and I had bought 2 packs of tic tacs...Just in case. He went over the details in his head and told me about how perfectly everything had worked out.

After a whirlwind of events, Ashley packed her bags for Washington and flew out to get picked up from the airport by her sisters. Wes had already flown out the night before to ask Ashley's dad for her hand in marriage. He also knew that in order for a proposal to be perfect, Ashley's family would be there. So he made it happen.

She bought a dress, her mom and sister did her hair and make-up and she waited anxiously. She didn't know what would happen. All she knew was that she needed to be ready at 6:00. When 6:00 came, a limo pulled up. She got in but Wes was not there. After a quick stop to get a Sweet Tea, she was on her way.

Wes was at Snoqualmie Falls, laying a trail of roses up to the lookout point. Checking his phone for the 3 minute warning, clearing away the tourists who thought they should be involved in this special occasion. It was hilarious. Her family arrived and was hidden away down a path, I was hiding in a bush. Yes, you read correctly. A bush. I was crouched in a rhododendron bush. Once she arrived she knew exactly where to go. They both lit up when they saw each other. She was radiant. As he got down on one knee, all was right in the world.

Take a look, watch their engagement. Except you don't need to hide in a bush. :)
